Prof Office was founded in 1995 from experience in the furniture industry, rooted in a family industrial background that designs elegant office furniture systems deeply anchored in the northeastern Italian furniture district. Over the past twenty years, the company's growth and development have allowed it to look at the international market, contributing to the dissemination of Italian design and the highest quality worldwide. By consulting architects and designers, Prof has strengthened its identity and expanded its product range.
Starting from stylish executive collections, it then developed operational systems, reception solutions, and conference rooms, up to partition walls. Today, this enables offering holistic and tailored furnishing solutions for every workspace.

SITE

The headquarters of Prof, along with its plant and offices, is located in Falzè di Piave, in the Treviso province, 70 kilometers north of Venice, in one of Europe's most important furniture industrial districts. It covers a total area of approximately 8,700 sqm, of which 3,600 sqm are covered. The manufacturing plant, specialized in producing office furniture, is equipped for woodwork, assembly, packaging, warehousing, and shipping of finished products. The main headquarters houses executive, commercial, technical, and administrative offices, conference rooms for client meetings, and a showroom of over 400 sqm displaying all collections of luxury office furniture. In 2017, an expansion of over 1,800 sqm was completed, including 640 sqm for production, 330 sqm for new offices, and 830 sqm for a new showroom.

PRODUCTION

The brand manufactures exclusively at the Falzè di Piave facility in Treviso province, always based on core values of respect for people, the land, and materials. Strong local roots and innate "know-how," which has evolved with new technologies, have allowed Prof to confirm and solidify its success by continuously blending tradition and innovation, adapting to new socio-economic changes. Prof's production organization is "just in time," ensuring reliability, inventory reduction, and increased quality and customer service. The entire Prof network operates mainly within Italy, in the regional production hub where most raw material and semi-finished component suppliers are located. All products are designed and manufactured entirely in Italy to guarantee a standard of consistent excellence.

DESIGN

At Prof's factory, every piece of furniture stems from an understanding of the changing dynamics of workplaces. Research has always been a strategic element of the company's development policy, expressed through an internal Design Department working closely with external designers and continuously updated with technological and legislative developments. Prof models are fully designed and produced in Italy, in full compliance with European safety and health standards. For this reason, Prof collections stand out for their high design, ergonomics, and functionality.

DESIGN CONSULTING
Prof provides comprehensive design and consulting services, including analysis of client requirements, layout studies with targeted and personalized furnishing proposals, along with technical drawings and renderings.

ADAPTATION

Prof can propose and execute personalized services on standard production models: from manufacturing oversized components, through sourcing new materials and finishes, to creating samples and prototypes. Thanks to his versatile production capabilities, Professor has developed specialized knowledge in non-standard consumable materials, handling projects ranging from small and medium-sized to highly personalized creations.

AFTER-SALES SERVICE

Thanks to the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2008 certification system for managing non-compliant products and claims, Professor maintains constant control over issues encountered during assembly and use. The company provides technical support and after-sales services, including full information, modifications, and repairs.

BESPOKE PRODUCTS

Professor’s high production flexibility allows, in addition to serial manufacturing, the realization of custom-designed projects tailored to specific client needs. The Design Department can support clients or designers in developing and producing unique products, both functional and aesthetic, with completely individual finishes.
Careful advice at every stage: a targeted design, with meticulous material selection and attention to detail, culminating in the construction process step-by-step until final installation.
The entire production is fully adapted to individual requirements.

ENVIRONMENT

In response to increasing international market competition by improving customer satisfaction and loyalty, and streamlining internal production processes, Professor obtained ISO 9001: 2008 certification in 2012. Implementing a quality management system is a strategic decision for Prof, enabling more concrete business goals. In a world constantly seeking quality and increasingly sensitive to environmental issues, Prof focuses on maximum experience in designing and producing office furniture with respect for the environment. From carefully selected raw materials, through the entire processing and packaging process, to disposal, everything aims to protect health and save energy.

As a result, Prof uses certified E1 panels in accordance with European regulations on formaldehyde emissions, both for raw materials and laminates.
Each panel is then marked by the Ecological Panel Consortium, ensuring that semi-finished products are produced through wood reuse in the manufacturing process, which does not involve tree felling.

Obtaining the ISO 14001: 2004 certification in 2012 confirms Professor’s commitment to establishing his own environmental management system, regulating the impact of manufacturing activities on the environment, and striving for continuous improvement. In 2015, during the same period as the company's twenty-year anniversary, Prof introduced a new green logo to confirm and identify his commitment to sustainable environmental development as an integral part of his operations and growth process. In 2017, the company reaffirmed its "eco-friendly" strategy, emphasizing values of "sustainability" and "responsibility," and switched to a new electricity provider (Dolomiti Energia) sourcing 100% from renewable sources.

ECO-PACKAGING

Prof continues his commitment to a production system capable of minimizing environmental impact. In 2016, Prof invested in a modern packaging machinery park using biodegradable cardboard, allowing for customized training in packaging. Optimization tailored to specific products significantly reduces packaging costs, storage, and waste for disposal. To improve waste management, several separate collection points for post-production waste were established within the company. All waste is stored in special containers and subsequently recycled.

CERTIFICATIONS

Demonstrating a commitment to quality, Prof obtained the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015 certification and adheres to international standards in design, development, production, and customer service.
