Prof Office was born in 1995 from experience in the furniture industry, a family-run industrial reality that designs elegant office furniture systems, deeply rooted in the Italian north-eastern furniture district. Over these twenty years, Prof's economic path of development and growth has allowed it to look at the international market, contributing to the spread of Italian design and the highest quality worldwide. By consulting architects and designers, Prof has strengthened its identity and expanded its product range.
Starting with stylish executive collections, it then developed operational systems, reception solutions, and conference rooms, up to partition walls. Today, this allows for the proposal of holistic and customized furnishing solutions for every workplace.

HEADQUARTERS

The headquarters of Prof, along with the plant and offices, is located in Falzè di Piave, in the province of Treviso, 70 kilometers north of Venice, in one of the most important industrial furniture districts in Europe. It occupies a total area of about 8700 sqm, of which 3600 are covered. The plant, specializing in the production of office furniture, is equipped to work in the wood department, assembly, packaging, warehouse, and shipping of finished products. The headquarters houses executive, commercial, technical, and administrative offices, conference rooms for receiving clients, and a showroom of over 400 sqm, showcasing all luxury office furniture collections. In 2017, an expansion was carried out over 1800 sqm, of which 640 sqm were allocated for production, 330 for new offices, and 830 for the new showroom.

PRODUCTION

The brand produces exclusively at the Falzè di Piave plant in the province of Treviso and always bases its identity on the maximum values of respect for people, land, and materials. Exceptionally strong local roots and an innate "know-how" ability, which has evolved thanks to new technologies, have allowed Prof to confirm and solidify its success, continuing to combine tradition and innovation, adapting to new socio-economic changes. Prof's production organization is oriented towards "just in time," which allows for the combination of elements such as reliability, inventory reduction, and the growth of quality and customer service. The entire Prof network develops in Italy, mainly in the affiliated production district, where the vast majority of raw material and semi-finished product suppliers are located. Products are entirely designed and made in Italy to ensure a standard of constant excellence.

DESIGN

In the Prof factory, every furnishing element results from the ability to understand the changing dynamics of workplaces. Research has always been a strategic element of the company's development policy and is expressed through the internal Design Department working closely with external designers and is constantly updated with technological and legislative evolution. Prof models are entirely designed and produced in Italy, in full compliance with European safety and hygiene standards. For this reason, Prof collections stand out for their high design, ergonomics, and functionality.

DESIGN CONSULTATION
Prof provides comprehensive design and consulting services, including analysis of client requests, layout study with targeted and personalized furnishing proposals along with technical drawings and rendering.

CUSTOMIZATION

Prof can propose and execute a personalized service on standard production models: from the production of oversized elements, through the exploration of new materials and finishes, to the creation of samples and prototypes. Thanks to its production versatility, over the years, Prof has developed specialized knowledge in the field of non-standard consumables, from small and medium projects to excellent personalized creations.

AFTER-SALES SERVICE

Thanks to the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2008 certification system for managing non-compliant products and complaints, Prof maintains constant control over issues encountered during assembly and use. The company provides technical and after-sales support services along with full information, modifications, and repairs.

BESPOKE PRODUCTS

Prof's significant production flexibility allows, in addition to serial production, the realization of projects defined to order, tailored to the specific needs of the client. The Design Department is capable of supporting the client or designer in the development and production of unique products, both in functional and aesthetic solutions, with completely individual finishes.
Careful advice at every stage of implementation: a project-oriented approach, with careful selection of materials and the utmost attention to detail, culminating in construction, step by step, until the final installation.
Production is entirely customized to individual needs.

ENVIRONMENT

In response to the increasing competitiveness of international markets by improving customer satisfaction and loyalty, rationalizing internal production processes, Prof obtained the ISO 9001: 2008 certification in 2012. Adopting a quality management system is a strategic decision for Prof, providing the opportunity for increasingly concrete business objectives. In a world constantly seeking quality and increasingly sensitive to ecological issues, Prof focuses on maximum expertise in designing and producing office furniture with respect for the environment. Starting from carefully selected raw materials, through the entire processing and packaging process, to disposal, everything aims to protect health and save energy.

As a result, Prof uses certified E1 boards in accordance with European formaldehyde emission regulations for both raw materials and melamine.
Each panel is then marked by the Eco Panel Consortium, guaranteeing that semi-finished products are created through the reuse of wood in a production process that does not involve tree cutting.

Obtaining the ISO 14001: 2004 certification in 2012 confirms Prof's concrete commitment to establishing its own environmental management system, which regulates the impact of production activities on the environment, striving to systematically improve it. In 2015, during the same period as the company's twentieth anniversary, Prof introduced a new green label to confirm and identify its commitment to environmental sustainability as an integral part of its business and production growth process. In 2017, the company reaffirmed its "green" strategy, confirming its values of "sustainability" and "responsibility," by choosing a new electricity operator (Dolomiti Energia) that sources 100% from renewable sources.

ECO-PACKAGING

Prof continues its commitment to a production system capable of minimizing environmental impact. In 2016, Prof invested in a modern packaging machinery park using biodegradable cardboard, allowing for individual packaging training. Optimization for specific products allows for significant reductions in packaging costs, storage, and consequently waste for disposal. To improve waste management, several separate collection points for post-production waste have been established within the company. All are stored in special containers, which are then subjected to recycling processes.
