Their journey began in 1882 when patriarch Luigi Sartori started selling exquisite rugs in Verona, opening the first shop, and later in 1920, a second in Rovigo, specializing in home furnishings. In the 1950s, when the innovative Sartori rug pattern started gaining popularity in Scandinavian countries, the brand capitalized on this trend and expanded its design market from Italy to the world. In the 21st century, production and sales expanded to such an extent that it became necessary to open headquarters in China. A very important project was launched in 2008. From collaboration with Diesel S.p.a., a modern idea took shape: using old rugs to create something entirely new and give them a second life, in a fresh and youthful style. This gave birth to the Vintage Patchwork Carpet, which tells a story of rebirth: classic or antique rugs are faded, cut, painted, and hand-sewn. This results in a unique and very special rug, a blend of noble materials that perfectly suits contemporary environments and the needs of modern furniture.
