On the Taranto model, the pattern appears to fade, giving way to spots with slightly different shades. Thanks to this treatment, it will beautifully change as the intensity of sunlight falling on its surface varies.
The name Gio Ponti Collection was created in reference to the great artist from the Apennine Peninsula and as a result of the collaboration between Gio Ponti Archives and Amini Carpets.
Inspired by the works of the late Italian artist Gio Ponti, an exceptional company was born. All products created under the GPC umbrella are handcrafted from natural raw materials, namely Tibetan wool and silk.
Vivid colors and first-quality raw materials reflect the style of this Italian architect. The same applies to the intriguing designs, which include geometric combinations as well as individual shapes: circles, hexagons, triangles, and the use of straight and broken lines.
Gio Ponti himself, who lived from 1891 to 1979, despite many artistic successes, is mainly remembered as one of the designers of the Pirelli skyscraper in Milan.
Tips:
