In the Blocks model, the owners of Fort Street Studio aimed to convey a three-dimensional effect through a special combination of colors. It is made from wild silk with a weave density of 120 knots, 15 threads per knot.
Fort Street Studio was founded by a pair of individualists – Janis Provisor and Brad Davis. They decided to channel their love for art into interior design. Previously, their works have been exhibited at, among others, the Museum of Modern Art, Whitney Museum, and Albright Knox Gallery.
Thanks to their creativity and practical skills, they created a completely different company. It is based on original, inventive designs and the finest materials. For twenty years, Fort Street Studio has been exploring new possibilities in interior decoration. The brand has been present at prestigious fairs in Paris, London, and Milan, and in 2010, it collaborated with the Hermès department store.
Every rug bearing this logo is a kind of artwork, a synergy of artistic mastery and functional aesthetics.
