Founded in 1895 by David Berti, this family-owned workshop seems to remain completely detached from the trends that have dominated the world over the years. Its core idea is a commitment to tradition, which is still cultivated by the fourth generation of these skilled artisans.
The owners strongly oppose the idea of mass production by random labor forces, which they believe would lead to the loss of the identity of their knives. Therefore, their company's philosophy places a special emphasis on the employed personnel. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to any innovations. They are very welcome, provided they bring elements consistent with the existing vision and can withstand long-term quality tests.
Unlike others, the various stages of knife production are not handled by specialized groups of artisans but are often performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
The best quality materials are used in production — blades are made of steel, and handles include materials such as buffalo horn, bison horn, deer antler, and 'bosso' wood.
