Prof Office was founded in 1995 from experience in the furniture industry, a family industrial reality that produces prestigious office furniture systems, deeply rooted in the northeastern Italian furniture district. Over these twenty years, the company's economic development and growth path have allowed it to look at the international market, contributing to the dissemination of Italian design and the highest quality worldwide. By consulting architects and designers, Prof has strengthened its identity and expanded its product range.
Starting with designer execution collections, it then developed operational systems, reception solutions, conference rooms, and partition walls. Today, this enables offering complete and customized furnishing solutions for every workspace.

HEADQUARTERS

The headquarters of Prof, along with its plant and offices, is located in Falzè di Piave, in the Treviso province, 70 kilometers north of Venice, in one of the most important industrial furniture districts in Europe. It covers a total area of approximately 8,700 sqm, of which 3,600 are covered. The manufacturing plant, specialized in producing office furniture, is equipped for work in the wood department, assembly, packaging, warehousing, and shipping of finished products. The main headquarters houses executive, commercial, technical, and administrative offices, conference rooms for client meetings, and a showroom of over 400 sqm, displaying all collections of prestigious office furniture. In 2017, an extension of over 1,800 sqm was completed, with 640 sqm dedicated to production, 330 to new offices, and 830 to a new showroom.

PRODUCTION

The manufactory produces exclusively at the Falzè di Piave plant in Treviso province and always bases its identity on maximum respect for people, the land, and materials. Strong local roots and innate "know-how," which has evolved also thanks to new technologies, have allowed Prof to confirm and consolidate its success, continuing to combine tradition and innovation, adapting to new socio-economic changes. Prof's production organization is focused on "just in time," which allows combining elements such as reliability, inventory reduction, and increased quality and customer service. The entire Prof network operates mainly in Italy within the local production district, where the majority of raw material and semi-finished supplier companies are located. All products are fully designed and made in Italy to ensure a standard of consistent excellence.

DESIGN

At Prof, every element of the furnishings results from the ability to understand the changing dynamics of workplaces. Research has always been a strategic element of the company's development policy and is expressed through an internal Design Department working closely with external designers and constantly updated with technological and legislative developments. Prof models are entirely designed and manufactured in Italy, fully compliant with European safety and health standards. For this reason, Prof collections stand out for their high design, ergonomics, and functionality.

DESIGN CONSULTANCY
Prof provides comprehensive design and consulting services, including analysis of client requirements, layout studies with targeted and personalized furnishing proposals, along with technical drawings and rendering.

PERSONALIZATION

Prof can offer and execute personalized services on standard production models: from manufacturing oversized elements, sourcing new materials and finishes, to creating samples and prototypes. Thanks to its versatile production capabilities, Prof has developed specialized knowledge in non-standard consumable materials, from small and medium projects to excellent personalized creations.

AFTER-SALES SERVICE

Thanks to the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2008 certification system for managing non-compliant products and claims, Professor maintains constant control over issues encountered during assembly and use. The company provides technical support and after-sales services along with full information, updates, and repairs.

BESPOKE PRODUCTS

Prof's extensive production flexibility allows, in addition to mass production, the realization of custom-designed projects tailored to specific client needs. The Design Department is capable of supporting clients or designers in developing and producing unique products, both in functional and aesthetic solutions, with completely personalized finishes.
Careful consulting at every stage: a targeted design, with meticulous material selection and attention to detail, culminating in the construction, step by step, until final installation.
Production is fully customized to individual needs.

ENVIRONMENT

In response to increasing competition in international markets through improved customer satisfaction and loyalty, and rationalization of internal production processes, Professor obtained ISO 9001: 2008 certification in 2012. Adopting a quality management system is a strategic decision for Prof, enabling more concrete business goals. In a world constantly seeking quality and increasingly sensitive to environmental issues, Prof focuses on maximum experience in designing and manufacturing office furniture with respect for the environment. Starting from carefully selected raw materials, through the entire processing and packaging process, up to disposal, everything aims to protect health and save energy.

As a result, Prof uses certified E1 panels in accordance with European regulations on formaldehyde emissions, both for raw materials and laminates.
Each panel is then marked by the Ecological Panel Consortium, ensuring that semi-finished products are produced through wood reuse in the manufacturing process, which does not involve tree felling.

Obtaining the ISO 14001: 2004 certification in 2012 confirms Prof’s commitment to establishing its own environmental management system, regulating the impact of production activities on the environment, and striving for continuous improvement. In 2015, during the same period as the company's twenty-year anniversary, Prof introduced a new green mark to confirm and identify its commitment to sustainable environmental development as an integral part of its operations and growth process. In 2017, the company reaffirmed its “eco-friendly” strategy, emphasizing its values of “sustainability” and “responsibility,” and switched to a new electricity provider (Dolomiti Energia) sourcing 100% from renewable sources.

ECO-PACKAGING

Prof continues its commitment to a production system capable of minimizing environmental impact. In 2016, Prof invested in a modern packaging machinery park using biodegradable cardboard, enabling customized packaging training. Optimization tailored to specific products allows for significant reductions in packaging costs, storage, and consequently waste disposal. To improve waste management, several separate collection points for post-production waste were established within the company. All waste is stored in special containers and subsequently recycled.

CERTIFICATIONS

Demonstrating a commitment to quality, Prof obtained the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015 certification and adheres to international standards in design, development, production, and customer service.
