They graze at altitudes above 14,000 feet above sea level, and their wool is rich in lanolin. This unique property makes Odegard Carpets wool rugs more resistant to stains.
Interesting colors are the result of manual processing and dyeing. Inspirations come from a blend of Venetian fabrics, Tibetan and Buddhist symbols, art, and architecture. Many motifs are inspired by tropical leaf shapes or the picturesque shades of the setting sun over the peaks of the inaccessible Himalayas.
