Model Blocks is made from a blend of Himalayan wool and silk with a density of 100 knots per square meter. It is suitable for both private spaces and offices.
Although functional items are often underestimated, W&W products are a perfect example that they can be as magnificent as a symphony. Delicate yet durable, fluffy, shiny, stain-resistant, and above all, unique – these are the qualities of W&W rugs.
The beginnings of Warp & Weft’s New York operation date back to 2001, when Michael Mandapati decided to establish a company specializing in luxury rugs.
Their production uses Himalayan wool and mulberry silk yarns, as well as nettle, hemp, and linen. Plants also participate in the dyeing process, which will surely appeal to those who care about ecology.
Each product is handmade in Nepal by highly talented weavers. Afterwards, the rugs are shipped to Switzerland, where they are finished and acquire their distinctive appearance. Thanks to an increased amount of lanolin, they are softer, more stain-resistant, and gain a beautiful sheen.
The variety of patterns ensures that Warp & Weft’s offer includes a gem to suit even the most refined tastes.
