Founded in 1895 by David Berti, this small manufactory seems entirely detached from the trends that have dominated the world throughout its history. Its core principle is fidelity to tradition, which is still cultivated by the fourth generation of these Italian artisans.

The founders strongly oppose the idea of mass production by random labor forces, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity of the offered knives. For this reason, their company's philosophy places special emphasis on the employed personnel. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to innovations. They are highly desirable, provided they introduce elements that do not conflict with the existing philosophy and can withstand long-term quality tests.

Unlike others, the various stages of knife manufacturing are not handled by specialized sections of workers, but are often performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
The production uses the highest quality materials — blades are made of steel, and handles are among others made from bison, buffalo, deer horns, or 'bosso' wood.

The owners encourage that, despite being designed for everyday use, their knives should be treated with proper respect, which guarantees their durability for many years. Each of them is a small, unique artifact.
