Founded in 1895 by David Berti, this small manufactory seems to remain completely detached from the trends that have emerged worldwide over the years. Its most important value is fidelity to tradition, which is still cultivated by the fourth generation of experienced artisans.

The founders of the brand strongly oppose the idea of mass production by unskilled labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity of the manufactured products. Therefore, their company's philosophy places special emphasis on the employed personnel. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to any innovations. They are highly desirable, provided they introduce elements consistent with the existing vision and can withstand long-term quality tests.

Unlike others, the individual stages of knife production are not handled by specialized groups of workers but are often performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
The production uses the highest quality materials — blades are made of steel, while handles are made from materials such as buffalo horn, bison horn, deer antler, or 'bosso' wood.

The brand owners encourage that their knives, although intended for everyday use, be treated with proper respect, which guarantees their longevity. Each one is a small, unique artifact.
