The company's origins date back to 1988 and a small London workshop. The ambitions of the people who created these products led to the brand's development. The real breakthrough came with new British artisans who inspired the original creators. Over time, ideas multiplied, and Porta Romana became a global brand.

The design studio is led by Shazeen Emambux. The artists discuss their projects with the craftsmen to create innovative pieces.
