Many years after visiting the heart of Sweden, still inspired by a long walk through the forest beneath intertwined branches of towering trees, Joana Santos Barbosa recreated her memories in the stunning Into the Woods shelving unit.

The enchanting pathway is captured by the angular shape of the shelving unit, where four vertical walnut elements gain a slight tilt, emphasizing the perspective of the long tree trunks along the way. In a delicate embrace, each vertical element protrudes from stylized brass blades that touch the other trunks. Every organic component of the shelf creates a variety of shadows that move in harmony with the surrounding lighting.

I am deeply convinced that I am not a creator of objects, but a fearless sculptor of dreams. My designs forge a unique vision that combines the wild side of nature’s wonders with a refined lifestyle inspired by artistic influences.

Every creation is imbued with narrative and symbolism, and my Land is a creative space where anything can happen and everything is possible. Mountains transform into surprising armchairs, trees into mysterious cabinets, architectural details are captured through geometric lighting, and even a painting is reinvented on an exquisite table.

Meticulously crafted using traditional techniques by my team of Portuguese masters and jewelers, each personal influence becomes a one-of-a-kind work of art.
