Sartori is an Italian company born in the heart of Veneto from a passion for high-quality design with an ancient tradition of handwoven knots. Their journey began in 1882 when patriarch Luigi Sartori started selling beautiful carpets in Verona, opening the first shop, and then in 1920, the second in Rovigo, specializing in home furnishings.  In the 1950s, when the modern design of Sartori carpets began gaining popularity in Scandinavian countries, the brand embraced this trend and expanded its design market from Italy to the whole world. These prestigious carpets gained recognition worldwide, becoming a sought-after item in designer interiors.

In the 21st century, production and sales expanded so much that it required opening a headquarters in China. A very important project was launched in 2008. Since collaborating with Diesel S.p.a., a modern idea has been paving the way: using old carpets to create something entirely new and giving them a second life, in line with a fresh and youthful style. This is how the Vintage Patchwork Carpet was born, telling a story of rebirth: classic or antique carpets are faded, cut, painted, and sewn by hand. This process results in a unique and very special rug, crafted from noble materials and perfectly suited to contemporary environments and modern furniture needs.
