Description

Large flowerpots are gaining increasing interest due to their unconventional shapes, vibrant colors, and design that was previously unavailable in such forms as today.

We are pleased to present to you the collection of modern pots by Kama Flower, which offers products distinguished by exceptional quality and a wide range of shapes, sizes, and colors. The pots are made from durable and highly resistant materials, making them suitable for outdoor use as large garden planters, as well as perfect decorative elements for interiors.

The pots are an ideal addition to offices, homes, apartments, and gardens. They also work excellently as elements of small architecture on streets and in parks. They will captivate everyone with their unique shape and refined beauty.

Plants can be planted directly in the pot or in an additional insert placed inside the pot. Inserts are available for all models of pots, and their size is more than sufficient for most plants. These inserts, along with the plant, can be easily removed from the pot—they are equipped with handles. This allows for very simple changes in composition and simplifies plant care tasks, such as repotting. Using inserts also enables immediate replacement of a sick or dried-up plant with a new one, previously planted in a separate insert and cared for as a reserve. This is especially important in prominent locations where greenery should always be attractive.

Garden or terrace pots (except for the Parga model) can be purchased with wheels, which facilitate easy movement. In this case, plants should be planted in the insert to prevent the pot from becoming too heavy. The wheels have non-marking tires and are placed in a special recess at the bottom of the pot—they are practically invisible.

Our pots are very lightweight yet extremely durable. Their light weight, combined with the possibility of planting in inserts, ensures that they can be confidently placed on balconies, roofs, or terraces. They will delight residents and create an excellent atmosphere without risking overload of the surface.

RESISTANCE AND DURABILITY

The pots are made from glass-reinforced vinylester and polyester composites. This is a technology used and proven in the production of marine yachts. We use the best materials from renowned manufacturers, guaranteeing their excellent quality. As a result, we can offer products at the highest global standards.

They can be used both indoors and outdoors. They are perfect as garden planters, terrace pots, interior pots, and as elements of small architecture on streets and in parks.

Resistant to water, high heat, and strong frost (if water does not stagnate in the pot), sunlight, exhaust fumes, air pollution, and biological factors. They are also very durable and long-lasting. In this regard, they far surpass ceramic pots—they cannot be broken or chipped, unlike steel or wooden ones, which degrade over time. The surface of the pots is perfectly smooth and glossy, which greatly reduces dirt accumulation.

GARDEN POTS

When using garden planters, remember to protect them from damage caused by freezing water accumulating inside. During freezing and turning into ice, water expands by about 10% — trapped in a closed space, it exerts tremendous force on the walls. To prevent this, holes should be made in the bottom of the planter to allow excess water to escape. Three holes with a diameter of 6 mm, drilled in the lowest part of the bottom in a ring shape, are sufficient. For drilling in composite materials, regular metal drill bits are used, and you can easily do this yourself or order it from us when purchasing planters. If plants are planted in inserts, similar holes should also be made there. Do not pour soil directly into the bottom of the container; always place a drainage layer covered with geotextile fabric. As drainage, gravel, expanded clay, or small stones can be used. This prevents the holes from clogging and allows excess water to drain freely.

If planters are to remain outside during winter, some plant species risk root ball freezing during severe frosts. In such cases, when planting, place an insulating layer inside the planter against the walls, made of materials like styrofoam or bubble wrap. It should be about 10 centimeters thick.

If the plants in inserts are very lush, the planters may be tipped over by the wind. To prevent this, place additional weights inside the bottom of the planter, such as stones, sandbags, etc.

It looks very attractive if the soil in the planter is covered with a decorative layer of gravel, small stones, or bark. For garden planters, this also limits weed growth and prevents soil from drying out. When using inserts, the decorative layer will hide their edges, making them completely invisible.

LARGE PLANTERS

When choosing the type and size of planters, consider whether it will be possible to bring large planters — especially XL and XXL — to the planned location. Sometimes, door and window dimensions are the limiting factor.

Planters produced by KAMA flower are very lightweight and extremely durable. This is thanks to proper design, materials used, and technology. The weight of small-sized (S) planters ranges from 3 to 4 kg depending on shape, medium-sized (M) from 5 to 7 kg, large (L) from 7 to 9 kg, XL from 18 to 24 kg, and XXL from 26 to 34 kg. Such lightweight planters can be easily transported and placed anywhere. Even lifting them onto a roof or terrace is not a problem if they are too large to carry through the staircase.

Planters filled directly with soil, without inserts, can be very heavy. Soil density is about 1.5 kg/liter, so filled XXL planters can weigh up to 1000–1500 kg. Choose the location carefully, as moving them later can be very difficult. Also, check whether the terrace, veranda, or balcony can withstand such weight.

Planters (except the Parga model) can be equipped with wheels upon request. Wheels are suitable for hard surfaces and greatly facilitate cleaning indoors. If this option is chosen, plants must be planted in inserts, not directly in the planter — as it will be too heavy.
