The brand was established in the late 1980s, revolutionizing the world of weaving craftsmanship. It chooses Himalayan wool sourced from sheep grazing at altitudes above 14,000 feet above sea level. Their wool is rich in lanolin, making their woolen rugs more resistant to dirt.
Interesting colors are the result of manual processing and dyeing. Inspiration is drawn from a combination of Venetian fabrics, Tibetan and Buddhist symbols, art, and architecture. Many patterns are inspired by tropical leaf shapes or subtle shades of the setting sun over the inaccessible peaks of the Himalayas.
All rugs from this brand are handcrafted from silk and Himalayan wool yarns. The dyeing process is 100% natural. Only organic materials such as nuts, roots, or saffron are used, while maintaining the highest quality.
