Their journey began in 1882 when patriarch Luigi Sartori started selling beautiful carpets in Verona, opening the first shop, and later in 1920, a second in Rovigo, specializing in home furnishings. In the 1950s, as the modern design of Sartori carpets gained popularity in Scandinavian countries, the brand seized this trend and expanded its design market from Italy to the world. In the 21st century, production and sales expanded to such an extent that it required establishing headquarters in China. A very important project was launched in 2008. Collaborating with Diesel S.p.a., an innovative idea paved the way: using old carpets to create something entirely new and give them a second life, in line with a fresh and youthful style. This led to the creation of the Vintage Patchwork Carpet, which tells a story of rebirth: classic or antique carpets are faded, cut, painted, and hand-sewn.
