For the production of its exceptional rugs, it gladly uses Himalayan wool sourced from local sheep. They graze at over 14,000 feet above sea level, and their wool is rich in lanolin. This property makes Odegard Carpets rugs more resistant to dirt.
Beautiful colors result from manual processing and dyeing. Inspirations for creating rugs include Venetian fabrics, Tibetan and Buddhist symbols, art, architecture, and nature. Many patterns are inspired by tropical leaf shapes or the hues of the setting sun over the snowy peaks of the Himalayas.
All products with this company's logo are handmade from silk and Himalayan wool yarns. The dyeing process is entirely natural. Only organic materials (nuts, roots, or saffron) are used for this process, maintaining the highest quality.
