The Lettera Disegnata model features numerous colorful stripes on a cream background in shades of green, pink, blue, brown, yellow, and black. They have no specific order or arrangement. They overlap, obscuring the color underneath, and curve in an arc.
The GPC brand was created in honor of a great Italian architect as a result of a collaboration between Gio Ponti Archives and Amini Carpets.
Inspired by the works of the late Italian artist Gio Ponti, who has been active for nearly four decades, a unique brand was developed. Every product under the GPC logo is handcrafted from natural materials—Tibetan wool and silk.
Vivid colors and high-quality raw materials reflect Gio Ponti’s style. The same applies to the original designs, which include geometric patterns as well as individual shapes: circles, hexagons, triangles, and straight and zigzag lines.
Gio Ponti himself, who lived from 1891 to 1979, is often associated with many artistic successes but is primarily known as one of the designers of the Pirelli skyscraper in Milan.
