Ray is a collection of rugs composed of colorful stripes available in six color variants, encompassing warm and cool shades.

They are offered in three shape options: square, round, and rectangular, each in two sizes. Made of 100% PA. The top layer has a thickness of 10 mm with soft and natural reflections, while the base consists of a double support layer.

Prof Office was founded in 1995 with experience in the furniture industry, rooted in a family industrial environment that designs elegant office furniture systems, deeply anchored in the northeastern Italian furniture district. Over these twenty years, the company's economic growth and development path have allowed it to look at the international market, contributing to the spread of Italian design and high quality worldwide. By consulting architects and designers, Prof has strengthened its identity and expanded its product range.
Starting from stylish execution collections, it then developed operational systems, reception solutions, conference rooms, and partition walls. Today, this enables offering holistic and customized furnishing solutions for every workspace.

HEADQUARTERS

The headquarters of Prof, along with its plant and offices, is located in Falzè di Piave, in the Treviso province, 70 kilometers north of Venice, in one of Europe's most important furniture industrial districts. It covers a total area of approximately 8,700 sqm, of which 3,600 sqm are covered. The facility, specializing in office furniture manufacturing, is equipped for work in the wood department, assembly, packaging, warehousing, and shipping of finished products. The main headquarters houses executive, sales, technical, and administrative offices, conference rooms for client meetings, and an exhibition showroom of over 400 sqm, showcasing all collections of luxury office furniture. In 2017, an expansion of over 1,800 sqm was completed, with 640 sqm dedicated to production, 330 sqm for new offices, and 830 sqm for a new showroom.

PRODUCTION

The manufactory produces exclusively at the Falzè di Piave plant in the Treviso province and always bases its identity on maximum respect for people, the land, and materials. Strong local roots and innate "know-how," which has evolved also thanks to new technologies, have allowed Prof to confirm and solidify its success by continuously blending tradition and innovation, adapting to new socio-economic changes. Prof's production organization is focused on "just in time," enabling reliability, inventory reduction, and increased quality and customer service. The entire Prof network operates mainly within Italy, primarily in the local production district where most raw material and semi-finished suppliers are located. All products are fully designed and manufactured in Italy to ensure a standard of constant excellence.

DESIGN

At Prof, every element of the furnishings results from an understanding of the changing dynamics of workplaces. Research has always been a strategic part of the company's development policy, expressed through an internal Design Department working closely with external designers and continuously updated with technological and legislative developments. Prof models are entirely designed and produced in Italy, fully compliant with European safety and hygiene standards. For this reason, Prof collections stand out for their high design, ergonomics, and functionality.

Prof provides comprehensive design and consulting services, including analysis of client requirements, layout studies with targeted and personalized furnishing proposals, along with technical drawings and renderings.

CUSTOMIZATION

AFTER-SALES SERVICE

Thanks to the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2008 certification system for managing non-conforming products and complaints, the Professor maintains constant control over issues encountered during assembly and use. The company provides technical support and after-sales services, including full information, modifications, and repairs.

BESPOKE PRODUCTS

The broad production flexibility of Prof allows, in addition to series production, the realization of custom-designed projects tailored to specific client needs. The Design Department can support clients or designers in developing and producing unique products, both functional and aesthetic, with fully customized finishes.
Careful advice at every stage: targeted design, with meticulous material selection and attention to detail, culminating in the construction step-by-step, until final installation.
Production is entirely adapted to individual needs.

ENVIRONMENT

In response to increasing international market competition by improving customer satisfaction and loyalty, and streamlining internal production processes, the Professor obtained ISO 9001: 2008 certification in 2012. Implementing a quality management system is a strategic decision for Prof, enabling more concrete business objectives. In a world constantly seeking quality and increasingly sensitive to ecological issues, Prof focuses on maximum experience in designing and manufacturing office furniture with respect for the environment. From carefully selected raw materials, through the entire processing and packaging process, to disposal, everything aims to protect health and save energy.

As a result, Prof uses certified E1 panels in accordance with European regulations on formaldehyde emissions, both for raw materials and laminates.
Each panel is then marked by the Eco Panel Consortium, ensuring that semi-finished products are produced through the reuse of wood in the manufacturing process, which does not involve tree felling.

Obtaining the ISO 14001: 2004 certification in 2012 confirms Prof’s commitment to establishing its own environmental management system, regulating the impact of production activities on the environment, and striving for continuous improvement. In 2015, during the same period as the company's twentieth anniversary, Prof introduced a new green label to confirm and identify its commitment to sustainable environmental development as an integral part of its operations and growth process. In 2017, the company reaffirmed its “eco-friendly” strategy, emphasizing its values of “sustainability” and “responsibility,” and switched to a new energy provider (Dolomiti Energia) that sources 100% from renewable sources.

ECO PACKAGING

Prof continues its commitment to a production system capable of minimizing environmental impact. In 2016, Prof invested in a modern packaging machinery park using biodegradable cardboard, enabling tailored training in packaging. Optimization tailored to specific products allows for significant reductions in packaging costs, storage, and waste disposal. To improve waste management, several separate collection points for post-production waste were established. All waste is stored in special containers and subsequently recycled.
