Although applied arts are often underestimated or marginalized, W&W products are the perfect proof that they can rival the most beautiful symphony. Delicate yet durable, soft, glossy, stain-resistant, and truly unique – this is the character of Warp & Weft rugs.
The first steps of the New York-based brand date back to 2001 when Michael Mandapati decided to establish an exclusive company.
The production uses raw materials such as Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, nettle, hemp, and linen. Most of the dyeing process involves plants, which will surely appeal to those who care about ecology.
All products are made in Nepal, where highly skilled artisans craft them by hand. Afterwards, the rugs are transported to Switzerland, where they are finished to achieve their final appearance. Thanks to a higher content of lanolin, they are softer, more stain-resistant, and gain a beautiful sheen.
The variety of patterns means that in the Warp & Weft collection, everyone will find a gem matching the most refined tastes.
