The origins of the New York-based brand W&W date back to 2001. It was then that Michael Mandapati decided to establish a company unlike any other. The rugs are crafted using Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, nettles, hemp, and linen. Plants also play an important role in the dyeing process, which will surely appeal to enthusiasts of eco-friendly raw material processing.

Each product is made in Nepal, where highly skilled weavers craft them by hand. The rugs are then transported to Switzerland, where they are finished, gaining a unique appearance. Thanks to a higher amount of lanolin, they become softer, more stain-resistant, and acquire a distinctive shine.
