Sartori is an Italian manufacturer born in the heart of Veneto, driven by a passion for good design and a long tradition of handwoven knots. Their journey began in 1882 when patriarch Luigi Sartori started selling beautiful carpets in Verona, opening the first shop, followed by a second in Rovigo in 1920, specializing in home furnishings. In the 1950s, when the innovative Sartori carpet pattern gained popularity in Scandinavian countries, the brand seized this trend and expanded its design market from Italy to the world. These elegant carpets gained recognition worldwide, becoming a sought-after item in designer interiors.

In the 21st century, production and sales expanded so much that it became necessary to open headquarters in China. A very important project was launched in 2008. From collaboration with Diesel S.p.a., a groundbreaking idea took shape: using old carpets to create something entirely new and giving them a second life, in line with a fresh and youthful style. This led to the creation of the Vintage Patchwork Carpet, which tells a story of rebirth: classic or antique carpets are faded, cut, painted, and hand-sewn. This process results in a unique and very special carpet, a blend of noble materials that perfectly fits contemporary environments and modern furniture needs.
