MARIONI is a family story

The company, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni's intuition. The initial artisanal character of the workshop quickly evolved and since the 1980s has adopted its current corporate identity. Starting from ceramic materials, product lines for interior furnishings were gradually developed, paying particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are linked to creativity in details and manual craftsmanship.

After Paolo's premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the company and led its development and expansion into international markets.
This was the time of the Cultura d’Arredo collection premiere, which presents an extraordinary combination of ceramic/fabric and heralds success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of exclusive products referencing the past, but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.

The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution across all countries and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that led the brand to face new challenges of digitization, culminating in the creation of its own archive of three-dimensional models ready for AR/VR reality.

In 2018, the eldest Vittoria joined the company as head of communication and quality to attest to further generational evolution. In this way, the brand reaches the present with a wealth of fifty years of experience, where artisanal production and management concepts are made available to the most refined and demanding clients seeking entirely Italian luxury.
