MARIONI is a family story

The brand, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni’s intuition. The initial artisanal character of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has taken on its current corporate identity. Starting with ceramic materials, the company gradually expanded its interior accessories lines, paying close attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are associated with creative details and craftsmanship.

After Paolo’s early death in 1992, his son Simone took over the company and led its development and international expansion.
During this time, the Cultura d’Arredo collection was launched, showcasing an extraordinary combination of ceramics and textiles, and promising success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of luxurious products that reference the past but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.

The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution worldwide and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that has prepared the brand to face new digital challenges, including the creation of a 3D archive of models ready for AR/VR experiences.

In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s eldest daughter, joined the company as Head of Communications and Quality, marking further generational evolution. This way, the company continues to build on fifty years of experience, where artisanal production and management concepts are offered to the most sophisticated and demanding clients seeking entirely Italian luxury.
