Each item bearing the “B.C.” label is meticulously produced following all the necessary steps to achieve an ideal product, shaped and finished to high standards. Every element is modeled according to instructions personally dictated by Bruno Costenaro, reflecting his taste and the preferences of his clients, as well as current market trends. After the first model is produced, molds are made for the final production of the items. This marks the beginning of a long process of creating this beautiful ceramics.

It all started when Bruno Costenaro, born in Bassano in 1940, began to learn the secrets of ceramics. At the age of thirteen, he worked in companies in Marostica and Cassola. By twenty, he decided to create luxury ceramics from Italy, initially with two partners in Vallonara, and later independently in Pianezze.

As demand for his products grew over the years, the company moved to Molvena. Initially, a small production took place in the basement of his new residence, and after many setbacks, he built a workshop adjacent to his home, where he still works today. This demonstrates that family-run workshops are thriving and creating true luxury. The strength of the workshop was extraordinary, thanks to its level of creativity, innovation, interest in export, and the company's ability to overcome crises in this business sector, providing employment to around seventy collaborators over the years, including his children, who continue the business.

On March 26, 2000, Bruno Costenaro received the honorary title of master craftsman of the Vicenza province; as a tribute to his exemplary conduct both personally and professionally, he was recognized for his dedication to work and generosity in passing on techniques and values to future generations. To this day, Ceramiche Bruno Costenaro remains one of the most prestigious ceramic factories in the area, always looking ahead, conducting research to satisfy its clients, and delivering high-quality artistic products.

What does the process of creating this elegant ceramics look like?

Each piece of ceramic from the mold is then hand-finished. It is glazed using the “a bagno” (dipping) method, according to the colors chosen by the customer (for example: white, black, ruby red, cobalt blue, emerald green), and then fired at a temperature of 1020°C.

At this temperature, the glaze makes each item durable and transparent. Finally, each element is entirely hand-finished by skilled Italian decorators, achieving refined details in gold and platinum. Fired at a temperature of 600-700°C, the final product is delicate in craftsmanship and carefully finished in every detail. After polishing, each piece is marked, and a quality certificate from the factory is placed in a small package. The products are packed into cardboard boxes using a modern packing machine that creates soft cushions to wrap the delicate items.

This modern packaging method ensures that there are never issues with damaged goods or broken items. All cardboard boxes are then placed on Euro pallets (80 cm x 120 cm), making the goods safer and eliminating problems with missing items. Upon receipt, the customer can attest to the quality of the product, having purchased an item from Ceramiche Bruno Costenaro.

Today, the company has expanded to include: gifts, complete series consisting of centerpieces, baskets, vases, picture frames, ashtrays, plates, lamps, columns, cachepots, mirrors, panels, candlesticks, clocks, tables, and swans.
