HELENA WOOD ART is one of the leading manufacturers and exporters of furniture and game boards with over 30 years of experience in handcrafted woodwork. In 1987, thanks to the dedicated efforts of Davut Kazar, a workshop was established to produce mosaics and mother-of-pearl inlay. Initially operating as a general partnership until 1998, it was then transformed into a family business. Today, Helena proudly produces a large collection of stylish products on a closed area of 14,000 m². The brand also takes custom orders and produces special projects for individual clients. Most products are exported to the Middle East, Europe, and America. Helena strives to serve its customers to the best of its ability without compromising on quality.
What is wooden mosaic and mother-of-pearl inlay?
Wooden mosaic art involves combining different types of wood; walnut, beech, lemon, olive, rosewood, mahogany, and other woods. The pieces are cut into linear segments, creating geometric heads for each piece. Artistically, the brand joins these segments to form a single, thick, beautiful piece. The thick wood piece is cut horizontally into round slices. These slices are inlaid into the product, giving it a unique appearance. Additionally, inlay with mother-of-pearl, silver, and brass cords embellishes these items. The mother-of-pearl is hand-cut and fitted piece by piece, then elegantly inlaid into the objects, allowing you to see and feel the shine and depth of the mother-of-pearl. HELENA WOOD ART products stand out for their combination of walnut wood and traditional oriental decor.
