How did it all begin ...

The history of SEBASTIANSTURM — Innovative Accessories started in 2012. The initial idea — “Make wood portable!” — was part of Sebastian Sturm’s engineering thesis. He specializes in designing and manufacturing protective covers and cases for notebooks and mobile phones, which are ultimately made from natural wood.

For this reason, in close collaboration with a veneer manufacturer, he developed a new veneering technology that made it possible to produce wood that is not only durable but also flexible and three-dimensionally moldable. What initially seemed like a challenging task quickly proved to be promising.

As this development process was successful, more and more people enthusiastically embraced his innovative concept. They were so inspired and excited about the new veneer that in the evenings he was designing bag shapes, patterns, and material combinations.

Due to overwhelming feedback on the first prototypes, Sebastian Sturm was convinced that this idea could have potential and decided to conquer the fashion world.

From the beginning, he was determined to produce only prestigious products of the highest quality standards. Only environmentally friendly tanned leather was used. He also places great importance on craftsmanship quality in further processing. He found this craft at a traditional company in southern Germany. The production adheres to high social standards. As a result of these efforts, each bag is a unique masterpiece crafted by master artisans!
