This beautiful box was designed by the lesser-known artist Uematsu Hobi. It is decorated with blooming chrysanthemums and a poem by tsuyu no ma ni, with letters embedded in silver. The background and edges are sprinkled with gold dust, and the floral and leaf motifs on the top of the box repeat along the sides.
