The Vulcain watch manufacturer was founded in 1858, and the company’s headquarters are today located in Le Locle, Switzerland. In 1947, Vulcain invented the first wristwatch equipped with a genuinely operational alarm function. This innovation was to earn the brand its reputation with American presidents from Harry S.
