A member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers. His paintings are in many private collections both domestically and internationally. He practices drawing, pastel painting, and oil painting enriched with his technological explorations and discoveries. He published a collection of poems – the album "Moje 40 i 4" and another is in preparation.
I come from Lower Silesia, where the mountains never ceased to create their mysterious, resin-infused melody of forests, and in the rock crevices lived birds and the whistling wind. Since 1979, I have lived and created in Nowy Sącz. Here, I had the vernissage of my first-ever exhibition, still in my final year of high school, and here I worked as an art teacher. However, earlier I became a certified conservator of works of art, thus fulfilling one of the greatest life desires of that time. For twenty years, I ran my own Conservation Workshop for Monuments.
Wacław Jagielski - born on August 20, 1965, in Lubań Śląski. Conservator of Works of Art and painter. For several years, an art teacher for youth in high schools and primary schools. He is a founding member of the Association of Polish Pastelists. Author of dozens of individual and group exhibitions in the country and abroad.
Among the more important ones are: National Pastel Biennale – Nowy Sącz 1998 (honorary mention by the Jury), Lyon – France, Contemporary Art Fair – Paris – France, Athens – Greece, Lviv – Ukraine, Vienna – Austria, International Pastel Biennale 2002 – III prize, environmental exhibitions – Art Salon 2004 – ZPAP "Golden Frame" Award, Art Salon 2009 – award from the Mayor of Nowy Sącz. Participant, organizer of plein-air workshops and post-plein-air exhibitions of the Association of Polish Pastelists and other international ones.
Currently, however, I have completely devoted myself to creativity – painting. In it, I particularly love color and light, which are the greatest carriers of my philosophy. However, what makes me happiest is my wonderful family, thanks to which the good Lord has decidedly fewer troubles with me. I belong to the Association of Polish Artists and Designers and the Association of Polish Pastelists. To date, I have organized dozens of individual exhibitions and participated in group ones in Poland and abroad. I have the considerable satisfaction that my paintings can be found in the farthest corners of the world in museums and private collections.
