How it all began...

The story of SEBASTIANSTURM - Innovative Accessories started in 2012. The initial idea — “I will make wood portable!” — was part of Sebastian Sturm’s engineering thesis. He specializes in designing and manufacturing protective covers and cases for notebooks and mobile phones, which are ultimately made from natural wood.

For this reason, in close collaboration with a veneer manufacturer, he developed a new veneering technology that allowed the production of wood that is not only durable but also flexible and three-dimensionally moldable. What initially seemed like a difficult challenge quickly proved to be promising.

As this development process was successful, more and more people enthusiastically embraced his innovative concept. They were so inspired and excited about the new veneer that in the evenings, Sebastian would create designs for bag shapes, patterns, and material combinations.

Due to overwhelming feedback on the first prototypes, Sebastian Sturm was convinced that this idea could have potential, and he decided to conquer the fashion world.

From the beginning, he was determined to produce only exclusive products of the highest quality standards. Only environmentally friendly tanned leather was used. He also places great importance on craftsmanship quality during further processing. He found this craft in a traditional company in southern Germany. The products are made under high social standards. As a result of these efforts, each bag is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece crafted by master artisans!
