Founded in 1690, the Odiot house gained fame during the reign of Louis XV.

The heyday of this renowned factory occurred during the Napoleonic era, when Jean-Baptiste Claude, grandson of Jean Baptiste Gaspard, received numerous commissions from Napoleon himself and his family.

Among the orders were, for example, the coronation scepter and sword!

At that time, Odiot was influenced by classical art, where the main products were gilded silverware.

CHARLES NICOLAS ODIOT inherited Odiot in 1825 and was a silver supplier to His Majesty King Louis-Philippe and the royal family in Orléans.

He then received the largest order in the history of the Odiot House for 3,000 pieces of gold flatware for the aforementioned Pasha, Vice King of Egypt. Gustave later became a supplier by appointment to His Imperial Majesty's court. He was the last member of the Odiot family to run this renowned brand.

Today, Odiot continues its historic traditions, producing beautiful decorative and functional objects made of silver and gilded silver.
