How did it all start ...

The history of SEBASTIANSTURM — Innovative Accessories begins in 2012. The initial idea — “Make wood portable!” — was part of Sebastian Sturm’s engineering thesis. He specializes in designing and producing protective covers and cases for notebooks and mobile phones, which are ultimately made from natural wood.

For this reason, in close collaboration with a veneer manufacturer, he developed a new veneer lamination technology, allowing the creation of wood that is not only durable but also flexible and three-dimensionally moldable. What initially seemed like a challenging task quickly proved promising.

As this development process was successful, more and more people enthusiastically embraced his innovative concept. They were so inspired and excited about the new veneer that in the evenings, Sebastian would create bag shape designs, patterns, and material combinations.

Due to overwhelming feedback on the first prototypes, Sebastian Sturm was convinced that this idea could have potential and decided to conquer the fashion world.

From the beginning, he was determined to produce only exclusive products of the highest quality standards. Only environmentally friendly tanned leathers were used. He also places great importance on craftsmanship quality during further processing. He found this craft in a traditional company in southern Germany. The production adheres to high social standards. As a result of these efforts, each bag is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece crafted by master artisans!
