Vegetable-tanned leather products

Vegetable-tanned leather absorbs marks, gives the leather a new refined appearance, and experiences new shades and colors. Similar to patina, which develops on the surface – indicating very high material quality. 

The brand sources the most delicate and high-quality raw materials from Germany, the Netherlands, France, and Switzerland. This is the essence of the entire manufacturing process. Just like in an orchestra, threads play a crucial role here. They add elegance, charm, and true elitism to Arte & Cuoio products.

The process of 'slow tanning' is performed with animal fats (tallow) and tannins extracted from chestnut bark and wood, ensuring the leather’s unique character.

The leather is then conditioned in wooden barrels with animal fats, air-dried, dyed with natural pigments, and polished with amber stones.
