In June 2004, in London, Laban received an award at the prestigious Coveter Lewis & Clarke competition, which was attended by over 75 pen and ballpoint pen manufacturers. Finalists included Montblanc, Omas, Namiki, and Laban. It is worth mentioning that winners of the Coveter Lewis & Clarke award are very rarely companies outside the European continent. Therefore, receiving this award for Laban pens is the best testament to the high quality of these products, their craftsmanship, and aesthetic appeal.
