This unique collection of fountain pens and ballpoint pens is not the only homage paid to Italian history by the luxury company Marlen. Our offer also includes pens inspired by Italian fine arts.

This extraordinary collection of ballpoint pens is available in two variants - made of 925 silver and bronze - both featuring images of the first kings of the Roman kingdom. An incredible gift not only for collectors!

Beyond writing accessories , the Italian company Marlen also offers: original desk sets, document folders, briefcases, luxury watches, and beautiful cases for writing instruments.

Pens inspired by Roman history

The first seven Roman kings reigned for a total of 244 years. The first among them was legendary Romulus - the founder of Rome. The famous legend of the she-wolf who cared for the twins Romulus and Remus was one of the earliest symbols of Rome. The rulers of the Roman kingdom were successively: Romulus, Numa Pompilius, Tullus Hostilius, Ancus Marcius, Tarquin the Elder, Servius Tullius, Tarquin the Proud.

Pompilius established Roman laws, Hostilius defeated the Albans and incorporated the Celius Hill into the Roman kingdom, Marcius became famous for building the first bridge over the Tiber and founding the port of Ostia and defeating the Sabines, Tarquinius established the games, Tullius was the first to conduct a census of Rome's population, and Tarquinius Pious defeated the Volsci and made peace with the Etruscans.

The period of monarchy in ancient Rome lasted from the city's founding by Romulus in 753 BC until the overthrow of the monarchy and the establishment of the Republic by Lucius Junius Brutus in 509 BC.

The company was founded in 1982 by Mario Esposito and Antonio Esposito. The company's success is the result of determination to continually and uncompromisingly produce high-quality pens. The founders' collaborators are talented goldsmith-artists. Cleaning Marlen pens

The ink reservoir should be cleaned with cool or lukewarm water - water effectively removes ink from all crevices and engravings. Do not use thinners or alcohol to clean the entire pen.
