"Susutake" (Smoked Bamboo) refers to a very rare type of bamboo wood sourced from roofs covered with traditional Japanese thatch, built over a hundred years ago.

Exposing the bamboo wood to "Irogi" smoke in a traditional Japanese kiln gives it a beautiful, dark reddish-brown natural color. Susutake is a very rare and hard-to-find wood, making it an exceptionally expensive material for manufacturing.

The pen is filled with ink from a bottle via a convenient converter or cartridges. It features a gold Nagahara 21k nib.
The pens are made only upon individual order, so if currently unavailable, the production time may be up to 40 days.
