We are pleased to introduce the Maki-e collection of pens. A fountain pen made using the traditional Japanese Maki-e technique by young artist Kousen Oshita.
The series is based on the traditional Kaga-Maki-e technique on the body of Sailor's most famous model - 1911. An energetic, young artist – a descendant of a family that specialized in Kaga-Maki-e – developed a modern yet stylish series using this traditional technique.
