We are pleased to present the Limited Edition. The Kohaku Amber fountain pen – an exceptional pen representing the Sailor manufactory. A special edition pen featuring two types of amber. The body and cap are made from specially sintered and pressed reddish-brown amber. The high-temperature sintering process results in a unique gloss and semi-transparency.

At the top of the cap, there is a unique, original, perfectly fitted gemstone, each one different in every piece. The ring surrounding the cap is engraved with the inscription 'SAILOR KUJI KOHAKU AMBER', referring to the largest Japanese region in Iwate Prefecture, famous for its amber deposits, from which the used gemstone originates. This region was affected by an earthquake and tsunami in March 2011. Sailor, in cooperation with Kuji Kohaku (Amber) Co. Ltd, created this extraordinary pen.
