  We were born and raised in the family home above our factory. For us, the sound of machines is a soothing sign of the life of the company that our grandfather founded over 100 years ago and for which we have worked since our earliest years. As children, we spent the summer months perfecting the basics of silverwork. Learning that "by hand" often means many difficult and repetitive tasks, we gained respect for the machines that assisted us in our work. Machines are poetic instruments; like poetry, they help us create but do not cause fatigue. 

On the other hand, in the repeated praises of "handmade," we find nothing poetic and believe it is a subtle bait for cynical sellers and customers who truly appreciate if a piece is made by expensive European hands rather than affordable third-world hands. It is a true nod to multi-generational and old manufactories, which are increasingly closing due to unfair competition and mass production. In our factory, many processes remain manual because they achieve results that are elusive to machines. These processes help us achieve impressive results, but we do not praise the "handmade" process itself. 

Poetry does not come from hands but from the thoughts of many extraordinary people who work and continue to work in our factory. But that's another story.
