In June 2004, in London, Laban received an award at the prestigious Coveter Lewis&Clarke competition, which involved over 75 pen and ballpoint pen manufacturers. Finalists included Montblanc, Omas, Namiki, and Laban. It is worth mentioning that recipients of the Coveter Lewis&Clarke award are extremely rarely companies outside the European continent. Therefore, awarding this prize to Laban pens is the best testament to the high quality of these products, their craftsmanship, and aesthetic appeal.
