In June 2004, in London, Laban received an award at the prestigious Coveter Lewis & Clarke competition, which was attended by over 75 pen and writing instrument manufacturers. Finalists included Montblanc, Omas, Namiki, and Laban. It is worth mentioning that recipients of the Coveter Lewis & Clarke award are rarely companies outside the European continent. Therefore, receiving this award by Laban pens is the best testament to the high quality of these products, their craftsmanship, and aesthetic appeal.
