Reinterpretation of the great ancient painting “Perseus and Andromeda” by German painter Anton Raphael Mengs. The theme is inspired by the myth of Perseus and Andromeda, depicting the exact moment when Perseus has already freed Andromeda from captivity of the terrifying monster, which lies dead on the ground, and is rescuing her, also with the help of the winged horse Pegasus.
