How it all began...

The story of SEBASTIANSTURM - Innovative Accessories begins in 2012. The initial thought - "I will make wood portable!" was part of Sebastian Sturm's master's thesis in engineering studies. He thus engaged in designing and producing protective covers and cases for notebooks and mobile phones, which were intended to be made from natural wood.

For this reason, in close collaboration with a veneer manufacturer, he developed a new veneering technology, making it possible to produce wood that is not only durable but also flexible and pliable in three dimensions. What initially seemed like a challenging task quickly proved promising.

As this development process turned out to be successful, more and more people became enthusiastic about his innovative concept. They were so inspired and enthusiastic about the new veneer that he spent evenings creating designs for bag shapes, patterns, and material combinations.

Due to the overwhelming feedback on the first samples, Sebastian Sturm was convinced that this idea had potential and decided to conquer the fashion world.

From the beginning, he was certain that he wanted to produce only exclusive products of the highest quality standards. Therefore, only environmentally friendly tanned leather was used. He also places great importance on the quality of workmanship when it comes to further processing. He found this craftsmanship in a traditional company in southern Germany. It is produced under high social standards. The result of these efforts is that each bag is a unique masterpiece crafted by master artisans!
