The Zafferano brand was established in 2001 by Venetian designer Federico de Majo. The founder has always been connected to the glass industry. Today, he designs products for Zafferano, paying special attention to research and development of new shapes.
With the experience gained over the years alongside master glassmakers and a passion for glass and design, Federico de Majo has created collections that quickly stand out for their originality and innovative processes on an international level.
Poldina is a collection of cordless battery-powered luminaires, consisting of table lamps (four versions), floor lamps (two versions), a wall-mounted lamp, a pendant lamp, and wall sconces (two versions). The “touch” control on the head allows for turning on/off, dimming, and selecting the color temperature of the light. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use (except for finishes in gold, silver, and copper).
The electronic control system monitors remaining autonomy and ensures a steady luminous flux until the battery is depleted. Charging is therefore optimized and always performed correctly. All models are equipped with a contact charging base.
The Italian manufacturer offers 3 collections of unique and luxurious items:
