Description
A part of the Flame Tree series of pocket-sized luxury books. Combining high-quality production with stunning artwork, the covers are printed on foil in five colors, embossed, and then foil-embossed again. They are wonderfully practical: with a back pocket for receipts and scraps, two bookmarks, and a sturdy magnetic side flap. Perfect for personal use, handbags, and making a brilliant gift. This edition features Vincent van Gogh's popular painting Sunflowers.
Van Gogh painted a series of sunflower images, inspired for the first time by yellow flowers in Paris, when he saw them growing in the gardens of Montmartre. Sunflowers symbolized life and hope for the artist, and could also be associated with his concept of the sun – shining, yellow, and full of hope.
