The company Il Papiro was founded in Florence and is synonymous with the excellence of Italian quality in the production of hand-decorated paper, still crafted according to traditional methods and artisanal techniques from the 17th century, of which they are the guardians and witnesses worldwide.
The very high quality of materials and the revival of ancient procedures by master craftsmen, such as paper marbling and woodcutting, have contributed to the success of Il Papiro and its decorated papers since the last century.

Il Papiro worldwide
Il Papiro opened its first store on Via Cavour in Florence on Christmas Eve 1976, solidifying its success in other locations in Italy, including Venice in 1985. The brand's reputation grew worldwide with the opening of two stores abroad: in Palm Beach, Florida, in 1993 and in Melbourne, Australia, in 2002.
