Description
The Portuguese Azulejo III guitar is a tribute to the artistic expression of the nation. The history of its people has been rewritten onto original ceramic tiles, painted in warm colors that adorn the walls of the coastal country: tiles, a national icon that Malabar proudly honors.
This new interpretation of the Portuguese guitar is celebrated in the form of tiles with contrasting colors, carefully painted by an experienced artist’s hand. A bold version that emphasizes diverse geometric shapes and striking patterns, making this piece truly unique.
Malabar was founded in 2012, alongside the launch of a wide range of decorative Fado guitars and the elegant World Architects furniture collection. It has designed and released a total of 5 exceptional furniture and accessory series.
Malabar has made its mark at major international trade shows such as 100% Design London, Maison & Objet, Decorex, Stockholm Furniture Fair, and Seoul International. These are among the top venues for showcasing innovative design.
Malabar’s design originates from Porto, in northern Portugal, a region with a long and strong tradition of handcrafted products.
The identity of this exclusive brand is rooted in the architectural and artistic heritage of the past five centuries.
International experience and a pursuit of perfection are the details that define such original companies. Emotions, handcrafted craftsmanship, and space-inspired design create an explosive mix of exclusive furniture.
Various techniques of working with natural wood produce incredible effects, as seen in Malabar’s exceptional collections. An important aspect of the design is the combination of neutral and black colors.
Vivid and bold hues dominate, significantly deviating from classic and stereotypical furniture.
In addition to wood, the manufacturer uses brass, gold and silver leaf, as well as other high-quality raw materials.
The Portuguese soul is very colorful and fascinating, clearly reflected in the daring furniture designs.
The company’s name itself comes from Malabar black pepper. Along with other spices, it changed the course of trade history with the discovery of the Cape. The value of original spices prompted Portuguese merchants to chart a bold sea route.
This remains true today, as Malabar continues to define highly individual design boundaries and evokes strong emotions with its projects. They are very liberated, seductive, daring, and extremely luxurious.
And these are exactly the kinds of products we love and introduce on the My Luxury Products platform.
