This is the new collection by Montegrappa. The mysterious name conceals a single word in two languages. It combines the English version of the word “my” – MY, and its Italian equivalent – MIA. MY+MIA = MIYA. The collection name suggests that its owner possesses a “personal”, very “intimate” writing jewel. MIYA was created in three celluloid colors: red, yellow, and turquoise. Celluloid is a material that requires a lengthy maturation process, followed by multiple treatments that give it an exclusive character. All these processes make celluloid very delicate and pleasant to the touch, as well as giving it a durable, slightly shimmering color.
