The Il Papiro brand was founded in Florence and is synonymous with Italian excellence in the production of handcrafted decorated paper, still made according to traditional methods and 17th-century artisan techniques, of which they are guardians and witnesses worldwide.
Very high-quality materials and the revival of ancient procedures by master artisans, such as paper marbling and woodcut printing, have contributed to Il Papiro's success and its decorated papers since last century.

Il Papiro’s high-quality production, still carried out using traditional methods and processes, includes items entirely covered with marbled paper, such as bookbinding articles (journals, notebooks, address books, photo albums); office accessories (pencil cases, letter trays, note organizers, photo frames, and boxes of various shapes and sizes); sheets of marbled paper, stationery items, cards, place cards, ex libris, and classic leather accessories.
Il Papiro worldwide
Il Papiro opened its first store on Via Cavour in Florence on Christmas Eve 1976, strengthening its success in other locations in Italy, including Venice in 1985. The brand’s reputation grew worldwide with the opening of two stores abroad: in Palm Beach, Florida, in 1993, and in Melbourne, Australia, in 2002.
